Biography
I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and parents for over 10 years! My favorite part about the therapeutic process is seeing clients as the experts and narrators of their life stories. I love supporting clients in gaining the tools they need to live healthy and full lives! Most of my clinical experiences include treating depression and anxiety; self-harm reduction; increasing self-concept and self-esteem; teaching techniques to improve focus/attention concerns and goal/habit setting; supporting healthy stress management, use of coping skills, and mood regulation; supporting teens and young adults with a history of trauma in various forms. I also really enjoy partnering with parents and guardians as they work to support their child or teen's mental health while maintaining or improving their own. I am a certified Nurturing Parenting Program and Triple P (Positive Parenting) Facilitator who operates from a place of Cultural Humility and utilizes strengths-focused and person-centered techniques to support the entire family when appropriate.
